Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a substrate for label, having extremely low curling tendency and high printability, by using a sintered material of a composition composed mainly of a thermoplastic resin as the hot-melt adhesive layer or adhesive part.
CONSTITUTION: One or both surfaces of a substrate composed of a textile (preferably taffeta, satin, etc.) imparted with printability are coated with the dispersion of a crystalline thermoplastic synthetic resin (e.g. polyester, polyacrylate, etc.), and sintered e.g. by the infrared heating at 140°C for 1min. The sintered layer is used as the hot-melt adhesive layer or adhesive part of the objective substrate for label.
