Abstract:
To provide a suction chamber of a water bar for the jet-needling in which when a strip or fleece of a fabric or a knit fabric composed of staple fibers, infinite fibers or acetate fibers, or a form or a mixture of these fibers is jet-needled, formation of droplets caused by ejected water by the water bar and the splashed water generated by ejection is prevented.
An air-exclusion member 7a is placed in a suction chamber 5a in a manner to guarantee the uniform sucking action over the whole width and/or whole length of a sucking face having opened holes.
