Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform reliable operation to suck a work and to improve positioning precision.
CONSTITUTION: In a sucking pad 10 formed such that s holding member 14 having first and second pad parts 14a and 14b formed integrally with each other is mounted on an adapter 12, the first and second pads 14a and 14b are provided with plane parts 32a and 32b, prevented from deformation when the parts are brought into contact with a work W, and skirt parts 34a and 34b deformed during contact with the work. A position relation between the work W and the suction pad 10 is accurately set by means of the plane parts 32a and 32b, and an airtight state in an annular space 28 is ensured by means of the skirt parts 34a and 34b.
