PURPOSE: To make it easy to handle the title pipe because of a small diameter, and to fully obtain a noise-eliminating effect, by a method wherein an infinity of acoustic holes are provided along a stream of suction air at a part around a cylindrical body, and a formation part of the acoustic holes is covered with a cover from outside, and an acoustic material is filled between the outer surface of the formation part of the acoustic holes and the cover.
CONSTITUTION: A connecting pipe 14 for a floor suction opening 13 is connected to the top end of a bellows type hose 11 connected to a cleaner main body through a low-noise type suction pipe 12. Two suction pipes 12 are connected in series, and each of them is composed of a cylindrical body 16 having an infinity of acoustic holes 15 at the top surface along a stream of suction air, and a cover 17 covering a formation part of the acoustic holes 15 from outside, and an acoustic material 18 held between the outer surface of the formation part for the acoustic holes 15 and the inner surface of the cover 17. The formation part of the acoustic holes 15 around the cylindrical body 16 is surrounded with a partition wall, at its outer surface. Since each of the acoustic holes 15 is formed in the form of a taper so as to be gradually made smaller, from outside to inside, the acoustic material 18 is apt to enter the acoustic holes 15. In this way, the dusts at the inner part of the cylindrical body 16 are prevented from intruding into the acoustic holes 15, and the air stream sucked into the acoustic material 18 is not apt to flow backward and is absorbed in the acoustic material 18.
