Title:
SUCTION PORT ELEMENT OF VACUUM CLEANER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0856876
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To achieve the effective utilization of the sucked atmosphere in order to rotate a turbine and to enhance waste refuse sucking efficiency by forming a communication port positioned just under the turbine to a suction chamber and the partition wall demarcating a dust collecting air passage and a turbine chamber up and down.

CONSTITUTION: The suction chamber 17 communicating with the suction port 16c formed to the bottom wall 16b of a main body 11 and the connection pipe 12 connecting the main body 11 and a vacuum cleaner main body are allowed to communicate with each other by a dust collecting air passage 18. The rotary cleaning member 20 facing to the suction port 16c is supported on the suction chamber 17 in a rotatable manner and a suction opening is opened to the suction chamber 17 and the turbine chamber 14' demarcated above the dust collecting air passage 18 by a diffuser 14a. The turbine 16 in the turbine chamber 14' is rotated by the sucked air stream of the atmosphere and the rotation thereof is transmitted to the rotary cleaning member 20 through a belt to perform cleaning by the cleaning member 20 and the waste refuse sucked from the suction port 16c is sucked toward the cleaner main body to be collected.
