To obtain a recycle-type sugar chain polymer composition including a polymer composition containing sugars as a main component in a main chain, especially in which a substance obtained by depolymerizing a saccharide polymer by a prescribed method is readily recyclable as a raw material of the polymeric compound.
This sugar chain polymer composition contains a sugar chain polymeric compound in which a sugars compound containing only a glucopyranose ring constructs a main chain by bonding with a fatty acid by adopting one of ester bonding, urethane bonding and peptide bonding and contains a fatty acid same as the fatty acid constituting a main chain of the sugar chain polymeric compound or its derivative as a plasticizer. Preferably, the fatty acid derivative is methyl ester, ethyl ester, n-propyl ester, isopropyl ester, n-butyl ester, isobutyl ester, or tertiary butyl ester of a fatty acid.
