To obtain a new sulfonamide derivative having strong antagonistic action on thrmoboxane A2 and useful for the treatment and prevention of thrombosis, angiospasm, asthma and various other diseases caused by thromboxane A2.
The objective compound is a sulfonamide derivative of the formula I [R1 is an alkyl, benzyl, styryl, naphthyl, phenyl or thienyl; R2 is hydroxy, carboxy, sulfo or an alkoxycarbonyl; R3 is H, a halogen, nitro or amino, Y is (CH2)p ((p) is 0-5), oxymethylene, etc.; (k) and (m) are each 0-3 (k+m≥2); (n) is 0-4 (excluding the case of (k) and (m) are 1 and (n) is 1-4 when R3 is H)] or its salt, e.g. sodium 3-(4-chlorophenylsulfonylaminomethyl)-1,2,3,4- tetrahydronaphthalen-6-ylacetate of the formula II. The compound of the formula I can be produced by reacting a new aminoalkyl derivative of the formula III or its salt with a compound of the formula IV (X is a halogen).
