PURPOSE: To use jointly as an assist grip and to maintain a shading function without reducing the occupancy area of a sun visor by providing a hole on the main body of a car sun visor and by providing a grip section and a hole closing cover on the hole.

CONSTITUTION: When a sun visor main body 12 is used for shading, a hole 23 is closed with a cover 25 and the main body 12 is rotated from the store position in the arrow A direction so as to shade the light from the front as required. On the other hand, when it is to be used as an assist grip, the fixing means 27 of the cover 25 is removed and the cover 25 is slided into a pocket 26 to be stored and fixed, then the hole 23 of the main body 12 is opened and a grip section 24 containing a frame line 19 is formed, thus exerting the function as the assist grip.
