Title:
SUPER ABRASIVE GRAIN ELECTRODEPOSITION CIRCULAR SAW
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6190876
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prolong the service life of a grinding wheel by arranging a plurality of blade base spacing each other on the periphery of a metallic circular saw and by applying electrodeposition of super abrasive grain inclusion layers to each of the parts neighboring with both the front and side faces of these blade bases or the front faces at least.

CONSTITUTION: On the periphery of a metallic circular base plate are a plurality of blade base 2 arranged spacing each other. These blade bases 2 have front faces slanting to the base plate at an acute angles. In addition, electrodeposition of super abrasive grain (diamond particles) inclusion layers 3 are applied to the parts neighboring with both the front and side faces of these blade bases 2 or the front faces at least. By thus constituting a circular saw, the life of the super abrasive grain inclusion layers is prolonged in spite of high speed sawing.
