Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a compressor excessive rotation of in a turbocharger while ensuring good supercharge responsiveness.
CONSTITUTION: An assist driving hydraulic turbine, rotated to be driven by delivery oil of an oil hydraulic pump 108 associated with an engine crankshaft 102, is provided in a compressor rotary shaft of a turbocharger 24. A bypass passage 17 and an intake bypass valve 21 for performing a supercharge relief of the turbocharger 24 are provided in a common intake pipe 14. In the point of time a rotational speed of a compressor of the turbocharger 24 leads to a fixed value, the bypass passage 17 is opened, and by increasing work volume of the compressor, its rotational speed is suppressed from rising.
