Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting coil support structure that brings about a thermal barrier between a superconducting coil and a rotor without the use of a member such as CFRP that deteriorates with age.SOLUTION: A superconducting coil support structure, which supports a plurality of superconducting coils 18a-18d provided in a field superconducting rotary machine, comprises vacuum vessels 16a-16d which include the superconducting coils 18a-18d, and a support 21a which is arranged on inner walls of the vacuum vessels 16a-16d in such a manner as to correspond to winding-direction shapes of the superconducting coils 18a-18d and which supports the superconducting coils 18a-18d.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
