Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent superconducting characteristics from decreasing even upon application of thermal strain due to thermal heat cycle and mechanical strain due to the electromagnetic force of a coil itself.
CONSTITUTION: This coil comprises an oxide superconductor 2 wound in a coil form, a container 3 which contains the superconductor 2, and a ceramics- filled part 4 to fix the superconductor 2 in the container 3 by hardening it after being cast into the container 3.
