Title:
SUPERCONDUCTIVE WIRE ROD AND ALTERNATING CURRENT SUPERCONDUCTIVE COIL FORMED THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3176951
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a superconductive wire rod and a superconductive coil by which the same level electric current as when a direct current is supplied can be flowed even when an alternating current is supplied.
CONSTITUTION: A superconductive filament is embedded in a large number in a matrix, and a superconductive element wire 11 is constituted. The three superconductive element wires 11 are arranged so as to come into contact with each other, and are stranded together in this condition, and a primary superconductive stranded wire 12 can be manufactured. The similar triple-strand is repeated by the necessary number of times by using such superconductive stranded wire. The obtained 3n superconductive stranded wire, for example, 35 superconductive stranded wire 16 becomes a stranded wire whose central conductor is nonexistent at every stage of the stranding.
