Title:
生体用超弾性チタン合金
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4015080
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
A biomedical superelastic titanium-based alloy contains 5-40 at% niobium for stabilizing beta-phase of titanium, and contains titanium and unavoidable impurities as the residual part. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a biomedical superelastic alloy, comprising preparing an ingot of a titanium-based alloy containing titanium (Ti) and niobium (Nb) as an essential component, or the Ti-based alloy further containing molybdenum, aluminum, germanium, gallium and/or indium and unavoidable impurities as the residual part; performing hot-working and cold-working on the ingot; performing annealing after cold-working and a further final cold-working of 20% or more on the Ti-based alloy; and performing heat treatment on the Ti-based alloy at 300[deg]C or more so as not to cause recrystallization or enlargement of crystal grain size due to recrystallization.
