PURPOSE: To facilitate the mounting/demounting and positioning of an acoustic coupler and easily shift the convergence point of beams by forming a groove part or projection part on a pair of opposed side surfaces of a supersonic contactor and forming a projection part or groove part corresponding to the fixed member of the acoustic coupler.
CONSTITUTION: At least one groove part 1c (or projection part) for mounting and demounting the fixed member 2a of an acoustic coupler 2 is formed on each of at least a pair of opposed side surfaces 1b of a supersonic contactor 1. Each projection part 2b (or groove part) is then formed on at least a pair of opposed inside surfaces of the fixed member 2a of the acoustic coupler 2. The acoustic coupler 2 is fixed on the supersonic contactor 1 by fitting the projection part 2b into the groove 1c of the supersonic contactor 1. Mounting and demounting work can be easily carried out thereby. Since a plurality of groove parts 1c of the supersonic contactor 1 are formed at certain intervals, the position of the supersonic contactor 1 can be changed by the position of the fitted groove part 1c where the projection part 2b formed on the acoustic coupler 2 is fitted. Accordingly, the convergence point Af of the supersonic beam can be set at the position close to the supersonic irradiation surface of the acoustic coupler 2.
