To provide a supervisory and controlling system and areal sound management method by which the operator of the system can easily recognize the information on areal acoustic devices and can quickly conduct tests, etc., with high operability.
In order to control areal acoustic devices in an interlocking way, a grouping table TB1 on which group numbers for specifying individual areal acoustic device groups to be actuated in an interlocking way with the output of each detector S1-Sn, a areal sound group table TB2 which is constituted so that the table TB2 can be retrieved from the group numbers on the table TB1 and on which areal acoustic device specifying information for specifying the areal acoustic devices belonging to one group is set, and an areal acoustic device data table TB3 which is constituted so that the table TB3 can be retrieved from the areal acoustic device specifying information on the table TB2 and on which the information on each areal acoustic device is set are provided as management tables.
