PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder which can stably transfer an article while enhancing a treatment efficiency.SOLUTION: A feeder 1 includes: a picking head 2 equipped with transportation means 5 for transporting an article XA, and plural holding means 21 which can respectively move a prescribed track by linear motor drive voluntarily; and a control part 4 for controlling the picking head 2.
