A supply pump is furnished with a pair of gears to be engaged with each other in a pump chamber 3 and free to rotate and drive, a gear is devised to feed a supply medium along a supply passage to a discharge chamber from a suction chamber, a first gear 5 is connected to a drive shaft 21 not to relatively revolve, an end part of the drive shaft on the opposite side of the first gear is projected into the inside of a connecting element 23 continuously in shape, and the drive shaft is connected to a driving element 7 outside through the connecting element. The connecting element inserted and fitted in the drive shaft is positionally fixed in the axial direction by using a fixing element.
