Abstract:
PURPOSE:To use data of each factory commonly and to enable attainment of quick restoration at the time of failure by collecting failure history data on equipment of each factory, by retrieving them at the time of the failure and by analyzing the cause of the failure. CONSTITUTION:A storage means 30 receives as an input the failure history data showing the state of failure and the counter-measure therefor in regard to each module of standard equipment installed in all factories, at every time of occurrence of the failure, and stores them collectively. When host computers 15 and 25 of discrete factories detect occurrence of the failure of some equipment, they output the contents of the failure to an instruction device 35. Based on this output, the device 35 judges the standard equipment and the module thereof which cause the failure, retrieves the corresponding data from those in the means 30 and outputs the contents thereof to the factory of which the equipment fails. Based on this collective storage of the data, the factory can cope with the failure quickly.
