Abstract:
To provide a support device for rescuing a fallen person from a platform, which can support the evasion of danger of the fallen person at a low cost.
Rigid metal pipes 11 are supported at their both ends on the sidewall of a station platform 1 and crossties 3 through a brackets 4, and a tape switch 12 is provided on top of each metal pipe 11. When a person having fallen from the platform holds the tape switch 12 by hand or foot resulting in applying external pressing pressure to the tape switch 12, upper and lower electrode plates 12B and 12A contact each other, and a detection signal from the tape switch 12 is outputted, informing that there is a fallen person.
