Abstract:
To support a driver with a color change of a traffic light.SOLUTION: A support device (10) is capable of executing a support operation to support stopping of a self vehicle (1). The support device comprises: determination means (12) for determining whether or not to call attention to a traffic light as a support operation when a light color of the traffic light is a light color that requires the vehicle to stop, on the basis of speed of the self vehicle and distance from a current position of the self vehicle to a stop reference position; and recognition means (11) for recognizing a surrounding situation of the self vehicle. The stop reference position when crossing of a pedestrian is recognized by the recognition means is closer to the self vehicle than a stop reference position when the crossing of the pedestrian is not recognized by the recognition means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
