To provide a support for a guard fence with a light-emitting section capable of being formed in a structure in which light-emitting section itself is difficult to break by an impulse.

The support 1 for the guard fence having the structure in which the light-emitting section 5 is installed to a lower section 1a as the underground section 4 of the support 1 and light-emitting section 5 itself is difficult to break even when the impulse is applied and there is no possibility of even the disconnection of a power cable extended to the light-emitting section 5. The light- emitting section 5 is mounted on a support lower section 1a and a transmitting section 6 is secured at the upper end of the support 1, and the support 1 for the guard fence is used simply for a separate support constituted so that the upper section 1b of a ground surface is separated from the lower section 1a of the underground section by the impulse.
