There is provided a support metal fitting 1 mounted at a position of intersection of sectionally rectangular beam and column of a frame material of an existent building. The support metal fitting 1 includes: a first arm part 2 extended along a length direction of a first vertical plane of the beam in a mounted state; a second arm part 3 extended in a direction perpendicular to the extension direction of the first arm part 2; a connection part 4 connecting the first and second arm parts 2, 3; a first engagement piece 5 formed to extend backward from an edge 2a of the first arm part 2; and a second engagement piece 6 formed to extend from an edge 3a of the second arm part 3 in the same direction with the first engagement piece 5.
