A honeycomb molding body support method includes: a measuring process that measures a deviation amount of a honeycomb molding body from a parallel to a prescribed flat surface of a central axis extending from one edge face to the other edge face in a case that a flank of the honeycomb molding body is supported by a cradle when supporting the honeycomb molding body of a columnar body having two or more open holes extending between one edge face and the other edge face; and a support process in which while a correction member based on a deviation amount measured by the measuring process is arranged between the flank of the honeycomb molding body and the cradle, the flank of the honeycomb molding body is supported by the cradle. In the support process, the correction member is arranged so that the central axis of the honeycomb molding body may become parallel to a prescribed flat surface.
