Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support method for valve inspection that enables valve inspection to be performed efficiently at a hydraulic power plant.SOLUTION: A support method for valve inspection includes: an information input step in which information regarding a valve 20 installed on a discharge channel 11 of a hydraulic power plant, the discharge channel 11, and water 5 flowing through the discharge channel 11 is input into an information processor; a stress calculation step in which the information processor is made to calculate stress exerted on each of positions on the valve 20 caused by water flowing through the discharge channel 11, based on the input information; a stress concentration position identifying step in which the information processor is made to identify a position of the valve 20 where stress greater than a prescribed threshold value is exerted, among the positions on the valve; and a visual recognition member fitting step in which a member enabling visual recognition on the stress concentration is fitted at the identified position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
