Abstract:
Support pad (9,10) for a long hole drill head (1) wherein the support pad (9,10) includes a base body (20) with a bottom surface, at least one side surface and a top surface. The top surface is arranged to function as a wear surface and is defined by a titanium-free wear-resistant coating (30), whereas the remaining surfaces of the support pad are defined by a titanium-containing wear-resisting coating (32).
