To provide a support pipe holding device in which replacement work of the support pipe is easy and the support pipe can be appropriately held at all times to reduce operation load.
The support pipe holding device 100, which holds a cylindrical support pipe for winding a belt-like object to be wound, includes: a body part 10 whose outer diameter allows the body part 10 to be inserted in the support pipe; an operation member 70 that is operably provided; and a holding member 20 that moves between a holding position, in which at least a part of the holding member 20 protrudes from an outer diameter of the body part 10 to hold the support pipe, and a releasing position, in which the support pipe is released, by obtaining driving force through operation of the operation member 70. The holding member 20 has a support shaft whose one end is rotatably supported by the body part 10, and moves between the holding position and the releasing position by performing rotational transfer around the support shaft.
