To hold small-diameter thin elements such as optical fibers or electrical electric coaxial cables all together by means for facilitating access to each element, or by means that can identify the bundles and elements if needed.
The thin elements 12 have a diameter of 1 millimeter or less. A support 10 comprises longitudinal channels 14 for housing the respective element. Each channel is defined by two longitudinal walls interconnected by a web for defining a longitudinal channel opening. The width of the longitudinal opening is variable by elastically deforming the longitudinal walls between an access configuration giving access to the channel enabling the element to pass through the opening and a retaining configuration for retaining the element in the channel. The elements are selected from the optical fibers and electric coaxial cables.
