Abstract:
To provide a support system for avoiding a sail under a heavy weather, which offers a support, enabling a crew to make decisions for avoiding the sail under the heavy weather and for carrying out preparation for avoiding the sail more correctly, by deducing and displaying an index for avoiding the sail under the heavy inclement weather in more detail.
The support system comprises a parameter-computing device 20, which computes to predict a behavior of a ship, based on marine weather data and obtains the index, about avoiding the sail under the heavy weather as a parameter, and a display device 40 which carries out display, based on the parameter obtained by the parameter-computing device 20.
