Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a supporting body for an electrophotographic photoreceptor hardly causing copy picture defect by specifying a chlorine content incorporated in a surface of the supporting body.
CONSTITUTION: The chlorine content incorporated in the surface of the supporting body is set in ≤5(ppm). Usually, in a producing stage of an aluminum product, the surface of the molten metal is covered by using a flux containing the chlorine in its melting stage. Moreover, in a removing stage of a hydrogen presenting in the molten metal and having possibility of causing bubble after solidification, a bubbling of chlorine-containing gas or an operation charging chlorine-containing solid or powder are executed usually. Then, in each stage, the chlorine content incorporated in the surface of the aluminum supporting body is set in ≤5ppm by not using a gas or solid, etc., containing the chlorine. And, the chlorine remaining in the molten metal becomes mainly to the compd. of metal such as Al and Mg to float on the surface, and the chlorine content can be reduced in ≤5ppm by allowing the molten metal to stand still for at least 1hr after treatment.
