PURPOSE: To minimize the fixing space and obtain high rigidity in a captioned device without causing any error of fixing by supporting a grindstone housing on a fixed shaft by a static pressure bearing for keeping the fixed shaft on a fixing bed at both ends.
CONSTITUTION: A grindstone housing 1 is provided with a grindstone layer 2 on the outer diameter face, and uses the inner diameter face for a revolution reference face 3. It is fitted on a fixed shaft with a pocket 8, and supported by a static pressure bearing. On the right of the housing 1, related parts of a thrust bearing are added, and positioned in the thrust direction between a thrust collar 6 of the fixed shaft 5 and the housing 1. The fixed shaft 5 is tightly fastened on a two-divided fixing bed 7 at both ends, and fixed with high rigidity.
