To provide the supporting structure of a change lever for automobile which can reduce the number of parts used and is optimum to automatic assembling.
This supporting structure is constituted on a synthetic resin base plate 10 so that the boss part 11a of a change lever 11 may be supported so as to rotate forward and backward freely. Bracket parts 13A and 13B which face each other are formed integrally on both sides of the boss part of the change lever 11. Rotating holes 15 are formed in both brackets 13A and 13B, and a serration is formed in the central hole 11b of the boss part 11a formed integrally with a change lever 11. A metallic rotating shaft 14 is mounted and is fitted into one rotating hole 15 so as to rotate freely. While pressing the rotating shaft 14 in the serration central hole 11b of the boss part 11a, it is fitted in the other rotating hole 15 so as to rotate freely.
