Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the support rigidity of a pedal bracket, more particularly the support rigidity of the horizontal direction, improve the rigidity of a dash panel and prevent the deformation of a car body even when prescribed or more load is inputted from the front of a vehicle.
SOLUTION: In the supporting structure of a pedal bracket, a pedal bracket 6 is supported on a cowl 3 or a supporting member which is coupled with left and right front pillars and extends in a vehicle width direction and is supported on the front pillars via a reinforcing member 1. When prescribed or more load is inputted in a dash panel 8 from the front of the vehicle, the coupling of the pedal bracket 6 and the reinforcing member 1 is released.
