Abstract:
To provide a suppository insertion implement which is less likely to drop a suppository in insertion and does not give a patient pain or a sense of discomfort when inserted.
The suppository insertion implement is for inserting a suppository in which a projection part extended along a longitudinal axial direction is formed, and includes: an insertion rod 4 in which an opening 4a for containing the projection part of the suppository is provided at one end and has enough length to reach the suppository placement position in the body at least from the body surface; a projection hold part 8 provided at the opening; and a grip part 6 provided at the other end of the insertion rod.
