Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suppression device and a method capable of easily suppressing overshoot of rotational speed of an internal combustion engine.
SOLUTION: The suppression device is equipped with a start-charging device 2 and a control device 4. The start-charging device 2 is directly or indirectly connected to a crank shaft 1A of the internal combustion engine at the time of starting of the internal combustion engine 1, and operated as a charging generator after starting of the internal combustion engine 1 or after the completion of a self-operation. The control device 4 controls the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine by operating to drive the start charging device 2 or by operating a brake.
