To provide a surface grid such as grating in which a bar-like member and a holding member can be easily and efficiently connected together, the balance of flexibility and rigidity as a whole can be optionally set, and a curved plane-shaped grid can be easily constituted.

This surface grid has a holding member 2 to be bonded to bar-like members 1 in cross, and the holding member 2 has a curved part 25 formed by curving the part between the adjacent bar-like members 1. An optional balance between flexibility and rigidity is imparted to the whole grid by this curved part 25, and the space between one-side end parts of the bar-like members 1 is differed from the space between the other side parts by contracting or extending the curved part 25 so that a curved plane-shaped grid can be constituted.
