This light source device comprises a drive means to generate discharge voltage, a light source main body having a discharge space, a light emitting means including a first and a second external electrodes respectively formed on an outside surface at both end parts of the light source main body to be extended in a first direction, and a voltage application means including a first and a second clips coupled to the light source main body to get in contact with the first and the second external electrodes to apply the discharge voltage generated from the drive means to the first and the second external electrodes. The first and the second clips may have power line coupling parts for connection to a first and a second power lines to apply the discharge voltage. By thus applying the discharge voltage to the first and the second external electrodes through the first and the second clips, electric and device reliability can be improved.
