Abstract:
This surface magnet motor comprises: an annular stator (900) having M (where M is an integer equal to or larger than 3) teeth (911); and a rotor (920) having an outer circumferential surface that opposes an inner circumferential surface (S) with an air gap (950) in-between, the inner circumferential surface of the stator being defined by tip end surfaces of the M teeth, and the rotor having N (where N is an integer equal to or larger than 2) permanent magnets (922) on an outer circumferential surface thereof. The tip end surface of each of the M teeth has an uneven structure including: two grooves (916A, 916B) arranged spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction of the stator; and a ridge (915) positioned between the two grooves. The two grooves and the ridge extend in a direction parallel to a rotational center axis (J1) of the rotor (920).
