Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel solid catalyst having high catalytic activity, a method for producing the solid catalyst, and a catalytic reaction using the solid catalyst. A surface-modified halloysite according to the present invention is a halloysite having a carboxy group-containing group or a sulfo group-containing group on the surface thereof.
