Abstract:
To provide a surface mount type inductor with a small size, in which a problem of a thermal influence from a wire end part to a wound part can be prevented.SOLUTION: A surface mount type inductor 10 includes a core including a winding core part 22 and a pair of flange parts 24 and 27 connected to both sides of the winding core part, a pair of electrode parts 44 and 47 formed on an outer peripheral surface of at least a part of the pair of flange parts, and a wire wound around the winding core part and having a pair of wire end parts 55 and 58 fixed to the pair of electrode parts. The wire includes a first part 52 wound in contact with the next turn, and second parts 54 and 57 wound apart from the next turn and connecting to the wire end part. The space between the first part and the second part viewed from the mount surface side where the wire end parts 55 and 58 are fixed to the electrode parts 44 and 47 is 0.5 to 3 times the pitch of the first part 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
