Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate optimization of matching of radiation electrodes 3, 11 and 12.
SOLUTION: λ/4 microstrip type radiation electrodes 11 and 12 are formed on the opposite sides of a λ/2 patch type radiation electrode 3. One λ/4 microstrip type radiation electrode 12 and the λ/2 patch type radiation electrode 3 are supplied with a signal from a power supply electrode 5 by electric field coupling through the capacitance. A part of the λ/4 microstrip type radiation electrode 12 on the ground short circuit side and a part of the λ/4 microstrip type radiation electrode 11 on the ground short circuit side are juxtaposed substantially in parallel through a gap thus constituting a section 13 for supplying a signal from the λ/4 microstrip type radiation electrode 12 to the λ/4 microstrip type radiation electrode 11 through magnetic field coupling.
