To provide a surface paper windup device for paper roll in a SPR to develop the maximum performance of the SPR by winding up and delivering to the next process the surface paper cut and separated from a paper roll in any conditions.
In a paper roll surface paper windup and delivery device 10 which pulls out the surface paper 1a of a paper roll 1 mounted on as SPR through a pullout device 4, tailors it on the table 2 of the SPR, and then winds up and delivers the cut and separated surface paler 1a, a rotatable inlet guide 11 with a curved surface to guide the top end of the surface paper 1a in the winding UP direction, an invertable inlet conveyor 20 comprising multiple sets of belt conveyors for delivering the surface paper 1a led by the inlet guide 11 forcibly in the winding up direction, a winding up conveyor 50 comprising a tilted plate 57 with curved surface on its top side and multiple sets of belt conveyors, and a reversible delivery belt conveyor 40 are provided under the pullout device 4.
