Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface processing method of a cylindrical electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of securing durability of a component to be used and effectively suppressing a manufacturing cost when forming a rugged shape on a surface of a cylindrical electrophotographic photoreceptor using a mold member, and a manufacturing method of a cylindrical electrophotographic photoreceptor.SOLUTION: A surface processing method of a cylindrical electrophotographic photoreceptor is a method in which a cylindrical electrophotographic photoreceptor is made to have contact with a mold member having a rugged shape on a surface and is pressed, and then the cylindrical electrophotographic photoreceptor is rotated around an axis to form a rugged shape on a surface of the cylindrical electrophotographic photoreceptor. The method uses: the mold member; a plurality of metal members laminated in a separated manner in a direction orthogonal to a pressure direction at a back side of a side having the rugged shape of the mold member and arranged allowing to shift from each other at pressing; and a bearing member configured to support so as to enable the plurality of metal members to warp in the pressure direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
