Abstract:
PURPOSE: To transmit and receive high-frequency signals in good performance by forming a surface resonator from two component devices whose magnetic fields intersect orthogonally with each other, arranging so that the currents have phases 90deg. shifted from each other, and equipping each component device with a resonance capacitor. CONSTITUTION: A surface resonator 10 has two component devices 11 and 12. One of them 11 is formed in a spatial parallel layout consisting of two current loops 13 and 14, which are furnished with one common conductor piece 17, and the interrupted part of this piece 17 is bridged by a resonance capacitor 24. The other component device 12 is equipped with two current loops 15 and 16 arranged parallel with each other and a conductor piece 18 common to the two loops, and this piece 18 is positioned as 90deg. rotated with respect to the conductor piece 17 and has an interrupted part bridged by a resonance capacitor 26. The magnetic field B11 induced in the component device 11 by the resonance current I11 maximizes when the magnetic field B12 induced in the other component device 12 by the resonance current I12 is zero. This enables producing a high-frequency magnetic field which is circularly polarized by the surface resonator 10.
