Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-smoothing agent which can make a surface of a sanitary ware such as a bedpan smooth.SOLUTION: The surface-smoothing agent for a sanitary ware contains a nonionic surfactant, and gives an arithmetic average roughness Ra of a surface of a thin sheet chip of a sanitary ware of 10 nm or under after performing the following operation (1)-(4). [operation] (1) a diluted surface-smoothing agent liquid obtained by diluting a surface-smoothing agent in water so as to have surfactant concentration of 14 ppm is prepared. Further a thin sheet chip of a sanitary ware having an arithmetic average roughness Ra of 14 nm is prepared. (2) The thin sheet chip of the sanitary ware is dipped in the diluted surface-smoothing agent liquid for 10 seconds, followed by taking out therefrom. (3) The thin sheet chip of the sanitary ware out from the diluted surface-smoothing agent liquid is kept for 50 seconds. (4) The operations (2) and (3) are repeated for sum total of 6 times.SELECTED DRAWING: None
