Abstract:
To provide a surface-treating base material for brazing excellent in corrosion resistance and brazing bondability, and further capable of preventing peeling of a brazing material layer after fabrication.SOLUTION: A surface-treating base material for brazing comprises a base material, a Cr layer formed on the base material and an Ni-P layer formed on the Cr layer. In the Ni-P layer, a half-value width of the peak PA having a highest peak top intensity among the peaks having a peak top in the range of 43° to 45° of a diffraction angle 2θ detected by an X-ray diffraction measurement having CuKα as a radiation source is 2° or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
