Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain paper for food package or cooking having good air permeability, water resistance and oil resistance without requiring pretreatment. SOLUTION: This surface-treated paper laminates a thermoplastic film layer having micropores similar to that of a substrate such as paper on at least one side of the substrate such as paper. A method for producing surface treated paper comprises applying a thermoplastic resin in melted state to at least one side of a substrate such as paper having micropores or joining a thermoplastic resin film to the substrate, passing gas from the side of the thermoplastic resin to the thickness direction of the substrate under conditions in which the thermoplastic resin can be melted and molded and applying micropores similar to that of the substrate to the thermoplastic resin.
