Abstract:
PURPOSE: Polyacetal articles molded in a mold at a specific temperature is treated with phosphoric acid to give polyacetal molded products with high surface processability.
CONSTITUTION: A polyacetal resin is molded in a mold in which the surface temperature at the cavity is 110W155, preferably 120W135°C and the products are treated with phosphoric acid. The polyacetal to which the process is applied is a homopolymer rather than copolymers and these polymers can contain heat stabilizer, antioxidant, ultraviolet absorber, antistatic agent, lubricant, reinforcing material, pigments and high-molecular weight additives.
