Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treating agent for a ligneous floor material which does not contain an organic solvent and thus does not deteriorate the working atmosphere of the coating treatment and, at the same time, prevents the deterioration of the housing environment by the containment of the residual organic solvents present in the coating material for the coated ligneous materials and in the adhesive for the ligneous materials to inhibit the volatilization and gives a coating film having stain resistance, water resistance, alkali-proofness, and gasoline resistance and a hard-to-slip floor surface after the treatment, and accordingly can prevent falling.
SOLUTION: The surface treating agent for a ligneous floor material comprises a vegetable drying oil, Japan wax, candelilla wax, and carnauba wax in powder form.
