An assumed peripheral line is provided in a position close to the periphery of the surface of the dish, and a level difference of about 5 mm high on the outside and low on the inside is provided over the whole periphery of the assumed peripheral line. When scooping to eat food served in the dish with the spoon, even if sliding the spoon on the dish, the spoon stops abutting on the level difference without moving outside from the level difference. The food can thereby be eaten in a position where the spoon stops without pushing out the food to jump out of the dish. The level difference may be provided over the whole periphery or only in several specific positions.
